Dr. Jian-Guo Zhang is a distinguished researcher with over 35 years of experience in optical fiber communications and avionics optical data buses, currently serving at the School of Engineering and Computing at Regent College London. Throughout his prolific career, he has held key academic roles at London South Bank University, the Asian Institute of Technology, and the Helsinki University of Technology, while also serving as a Visiting Research Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Transient Optics & Photonics (SKLTOP) in China. His R&D leadership has resulted in groundbreaking advancements, including the implementation of China's first optical sampling oscilloscope and pioneered the variable-bit-rate/multiple-bit-rate optical code-division multiple access (OCDMA) technique. A Fellow of the Institute of Physics and a recipient of the URSI Young Scientist Award, Dr. Zhang has published over 180 peer-reviewed papers and led 10 major collaborative research projects. His expertise spans ultrafast optical signal processing, microwave photonics, and high-speed networks, complemented by extensive service on editorial boards such as Acta Photonica Sinica. He continues to contribute to the field as a Visiting Fellow, leveraging decades of international expertise to mentor the next generation of engineers and researchers.

Antonio José Steidle Neto is agricultural engineer, with master’s degree in agricultural engineering and doctorate in agronomy by the of Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil. Additionally, he did two post-doctorates in plant science and agricultural meteorology. For more than fifteen years, he is associate professor and researcher of the Agrarian Sciences Department of the Federal University of São João del-Rei, Brazil. He has experience in areas of agricultural engineering, emphasizing the spectroscopy applied to agriculture. Published more than 85 scientific papers in international journals, as well as 8 book chapters.

Yahia CHERGUI is an associate Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Institute, Boumerdes Algeria. He has completed his PhD from Badji Mokhtar University in Annaba, Algeria. He did all his PhD work in Cardiff University in UK. His research field is Physics(condensed matter, and soft matter simulation by molecular dynamics). Prof. Salah OUDJERTLI, DSc, HDR, is a Senior Researcher Class “A” at the Research Center in Industrial Technologies, Algiers, Algeria, and a member of the Laboratory of Nanomaterials, Corrosion, and Surface Treatment (LNCTS) and the Laboratory of Industrial Mechanics at Badji Mokhtar – Annaba University. He holds a Habilitation to Direct Research in Materials Science and teaches a broad range of university courses spanning mechanics, materials science, chemistry, biophysics, and quantum mechanics. He serves as a peer reviewer for several international journals in physics and materials science and is an active member of numerous professional societies in chemistry, physics, crystallography, and photonics. His research interests include nanomaterials, nano-biomaterials, ceramics, semiconductors, metals and alloys, polymers, oxides, and ceramic optics. Fawad Ali is a PhD Scholar at Shenzhen University specializing in the field of photoacoustics. His research explores the intersection of optics, lasers, and ultrasound for medical imaging. He focuses on leveraging the photoacoustic effect to create high-resolution biological maps. By using pulsed lasers, he aims to improve the depth and contrast of non-invasive diagnostics. His work contributes to the development of advanced sensors for early disease detection. He is affiliated with the innovative research environment at Shenzhen University in China. His academic efforts bridge the gap between theoretical photonics and clinical applications. He actively investigates the interaction between light and tissue to refine imaging clarity.
